Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using PDF Under (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app does

PDF Under lets you compress PDF and other supported files directly on your device, and receive files shared from other apps via its Share Extension. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed.

No guarantee on compression results

Compression results depend heavily on the content, format, and structure of the file you are processing. We do not guarantee that any file can be reduced to a specific target size, or that a target size you set will always be reached. In some cases, a file may not compress meaningfully further, or the resulting file may be larger than expected for certain inputs. Always review the output before relying on it for a specific purpose (such as an upload size limit).

Purchases & subscriptions

Some features may require a one-time purchase or a subscription, billed through your Apple ID via StoreKit. Where subscriptions are offered:

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

All purchases are subject to Apple's App Store terms and refund policies; we do not process payments or refunds directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

• Process files you do not have the legal right to possess or modify
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or files, compression results that do not meet your expectations, or interruptions in service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
