PDF Under is a file compression app built with your privacy in mind. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your files and data when you use the app. The short version: your files never leave your device, and we don't collect any personal information about you.
All compression and file processing in PDF Under happens entirely on your device. When you compress a file, it is read, processed, and saved locally — it is never uploaded to any server, ours or anyone else's. We do not operate a backend that receives or stores your files.
We do not collect, request, or store:
PDF Under does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. There is no tracking of any kind built into the app.
PDF Under includes a Share Extension so you can send files to it directly from other apps (for example, the Files app or Mail). Files shared this way are passed to PDF Under using an App Group container, which is a private, sandboxed storage area shared only between PDF Under and its own extension. This mechanism is not accessible to any other app, and no data passed through it is transmitted anywhere outside your device.
In-app purchases and subscriptions, if any, are handled entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. Your payment details (card numbers, billing information, Apple ID credentials) are processed by Apple and are never seen, transmitted to, or stored by us. We only receive confirmation that a transaction was completed, as provided by StoreKit.
PDF Under does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because the app does not collect personal data from any user regardless of age. Since no data collection takes place, there is no data about children to collect, store, or process.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
