Why does my clean photo lose its Live Photo effect?

Live Photo motion, audio, and depth data can carry identifying metadata of their own. When PrivPix cleans a photo, it removes this supplementary data along with the rest of the metadata, which converts the result into a standard static photo. This is expected — a cleaned photo no longer includes Live Photo or depth-based effects.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. PrivPix processes every photo entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers or any third party — there is no server involved in scanning or cleaning at all.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open PrivPix, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. This restores any purchase tied to the Apple ID you're currently signed in with.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not within the app. On your device, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, select PrivPix, and cancel from there.

Can I clean multiple photos at once?

Yes. Premium unlocks a batch mode that lets you select and clean multiple photos in one pass, instead of processing them one at a time.
